Peter Lerangis

Today we are going to be talking with Peter Lerangis, author of “The Seven Wonders” series. He just finished the series with the fifth book called “The Legend of the Rift.” I met Peter when he was the co-host of the always terrific 90 Second Newbery Film Festival along with founder, James Kennedy. His costume, and this is coming from a magician who is always looking for cool duds to wear, was excellent. It was filled with stars and I was going to find out that Peter was a star among writers.

Description

His Seven Wonders series has been on the NY Times best seller list. His book “Somebody Please Tell Me Who I Am” won the 2013 Schneider Book Award presented by the ALA for a book that “embodies artistic expression of the disability experience for adolescent audiences.” All in all he has written more than 160 books and sold almost six million volumes. His books have been translated into 33 languages and I kind of think that this is still the beginning for Perter Lerangis. Who knows what ideas and inspirations are lurking in Peter’s mind, only to come out into the world of books soon.
